I've been working on a couple things, it's been... interesting thusfar.

1.) I've had this chord progression in my head for weeks for a piece for strings. 2 violin parts, 1 viola, 1 cello and a double bass part. I finally managed to get around to copying it today. Ponuh I'll scan the sheet music and PM it to you or something. I hand copied it, so I apologize in advance if it's a little sloppy (eraser marks and what not.)

2.) A progressive classical piece. This is something I've been joking about doing forever. I turned in something similar as part of my final for music theory IV in high school, but it handed back with a giant "REDO" on the front. lol Mixed meter/odd beat stress, (think math metal, lol) strange intervals, erratic key changes and strange tonal emphasis (modality.) I don't know if I'd send this to anyone for school, but it'd be amusing to hear played by the actual parts instead of either a shitty midi recording or a piano.

All in all I'm having a lot of fun. oO

The sampler comes with nice patches for stringed istruments like that too if i remember right.
