The great thing about weight lifting from a body fat standpoint is that when your muscles grow they eat food ALWAYS not just when you're excercising, which is why you can eat a little more when you get into it and it'll be like you ate nothing at all body fat wise!

yeah thats the great point of being muscular. Well i have on more doughnut left and im eating it in the morning (thank god they only got 2...why i really dont know) anyway after that im gonna eat better. Ding done with biology homework :D anyone know anything about hamlet /die

formula is simple, loose weight = burn more calores than you eat = eat less or eat smart(suggest eating smart).

Also if your looking for muscle growth protein is your friend helps repair muscles and helps build them (don't make protein sole source of nutrition)

I like to do cardio its fun on the tredmill to see how long and fast i can run.
my favorite workouts are Squats and legpress(i'd post how much i could do but i'd feel liek im bragging)

My first time i worked out i had a personal trainer and there hard but like you best work out buddy, they make a system thats best for you.

ohohohohohoho do not ever use steriods my step dad used em the how he said "Smart way" and yea it may help weight loss and muscle build but it messes with everything else. he has been off em for 2 years and still has the fucking crazy emotional asshole bursts its like PMS x 100. so just never do em, plus they expencive.

and whiel were on the subject, atkins diet is bad for you. it wont affect you now but later in life it nails you. depriving your body from carbs which are one of the main forms of energy is sooo bad for you. i'd go into how it affects you and everything but id have to type my whole report on hereand i dont think you guys wanna read it, if you do send me a PM or start a atkins chat lol. and it also annoys me how people will go to mcdonalds and order a bigmac without the bun and say its carb friendly HA! its scary how fickle society is.

and yarr where is there sugars in water? i've never seen any in water....but they might be hiding them o.o but seriously theres stuff like that in water? thats crazy i drink alot of water and maybe have 1 or 2 sodas a week or 2 (without sodas i seem to sleep better o.o)

also water keeps you body going and water helps your body loose stored fat and repair muscles a bit faster if that answers any questions.

anyways sorry for getting off topic atkins and steroids make me mad.
but gratz on your workout lol make it a habit and notice the difference

Seltzers pretty much just carbonated water, you can buy different flavors at Stop + Shop or wherever you go. I drink protein drinks sometimes, I know my friends drink Protein drinks and water, and they work out, seems to work for them.

If there's anything I've learned from lifting, it would be never....Neh-eh-EVER...try to max out on an inclined leg press...You'll be walking around the rest of the day stiff legged and wincing...and get targeted for ALOT of buttsex jokes... :oops:

Question to Yarr. do you take and supplements such as Creatine? I have been using Creatine for a bit now, and I used to make alot of Protein Shakes with Whey Powder Protein.

Im not trying to bulk up that much so I just make sure to eat a high protien and carb diet. NO supplements for me, although my trainer wants me to start having some shakes in the morning. Im already getting more bulky than I really want, but whatever haha.

I disagree. When you are young supposedly it's fine to eat whenever. However as you grow older it's much harder to see results if you work out on a full stomach. Get in the habit of eating protein DIRECTLY afterwards
