I wanna know why all of us like/love this game so much?

I don't really know why i like it myself, but if i had to say it would probly be the interactivty with other people helping each other grow stronger.

Tell me why you like FFXI.

I liked it for the people. But certain aspects continually drove me away.

I like trying the Game with different Aspects. like how a Brd plays the Game is totaly different from how a Bst does. I always love to think of "what if" i was that job. and You get a Better understanding how a job works if u try it.

JOINING OF SIX!

I think it's a great way to kill a lot of spare time, and I've met some pretty cool ppl.

Me just recently hitting 75, I still have a whole world to discover. The people kept me going to get here. But now I get to do like 80% of the fun stuff in the game, HNMs/Gods And when you got 17 people wiping to Mother Globe, it sucks.. but someone always says that random comment to cheer everyone up and make us lol irl. but yeah, for me there's still tons to do and discover. And I share Talisin's idea of each job plays this game totally different. so it's fun. (Recently started whm....I dunno what I'm doing, winging it. lvl 23)

A lot of people ask me why I enjoy doing CoP missions. They don't grant you access to some super-awesome place like sky, and they don't directly give you any tangible rewards or must-have equipment. Because they're FUN, and the story is awesome, IMO. I don't play to get AF2 or a Peacock Charm or an Armada Hauberk...though I might eventually get those things, I play primarily to enjoy the story, explore new areas, and have fun with my friends. FFXI is still the only MMO in history with an engaging story, and I intend to enjoy every last word.

I like this game so much because the people that i meet on here and how they act. Most of the time that i play the game there are people that are real faggits but there are other people that make the game fun so that is why my school, life, and work suffer all for this game. (even though SE says that i shouldnt let that happen)

No doubt it's the people. I've tried to quit so many times, but I keep coming back b/c I like playing with my game friends. I don't know what else has me addicted. I hate so many things about where this game is today. Now that PLD is 75 and I don't have my perma anymore I don't even know what to do when I log on.

If I stop, I know a lot of stuff will haunt me for years. I want to finish CoP, I want to finish a lot of quest, I want to kill a few more HNM and get some sexy gear. I'm always under the impression I'm "almost done", but the way the game is done, I won't be able to complete what I want in month.

i have met really good people playing this game that have my same interests.

and playing this game has kept me active in school and everything else,

this game was really my drive to do well in school, if i got good grades, i could play.

but ever since i stopped playing, i have lost weight, gotten very pale, my grades have dropped, and i am overly tired all the time.

its really weired, but i think i loved this game because it was my first MMORPG or w/e and the only game that i played for more than a month, being able to interact with other players is really cool. plus i have always loved the FF series ever since i watched my cousin play ff5 i think it was and when arim showed me ff8. being able to play and interact with those people is a great experience, plus i loved the graphics and story line.
