LMAO! This is so true. However, it is ME who told Deezle of my time of day theory. I do have evidence to back it up (and not just some "Hey I did 1 HQ at 0:00 so it must be true!" type of evidence).
Yes, Scorpion Harness is a level 69 Bone synth . . however it is also a 44 Leather synth. I had this discussion with Deezle as well and informed him of research I had done on subcraft synths. It seems that the required skill that you are weakest in compared to the skill caps of the synth is the one that takes precedence.
Example: SH is 69 Bone and 44 Leather. If you are 100 Bone and 60 Leather, you are 31 levels above the bone cap, and only 16 above the leather cap. Now since 16 is clearly lower than 31, the synthesis will be based on your leather skill only.
I am not just pulling this out of my ass as I have done 100's of synths to test this.
Now since it also pretty well known at this point that the HQ rate's jump singnificantly at 11, 31, and 51 levels about the skill cap, and there is no way possible to get both 100 bone and 75 leather, it is safe to say that no matter what, your HQ rate on SH's will never be higher than about 10%
