your forgeting that Anakin Skywalker is the father of those twins so luke gets that skywalker and Aniakin earn that name as Darth Vader when he join the dark side.
anyway did you watch those old starwar 4 5 and 6 or you just never seen it ? it also seem you dont understand the Force of the Jedi heh heh.

Actually, that's a joke from an episode of "Cheers". There was a TV show that Frasier had recorded and he didn't want everyone to spoil the ending. Of course, the bar did just that. His response was something like "Well thanks for nothing. Oh yeah, Rosebud is the name of the sled and Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father" (spoiling surprises from Citizen Kane and The Empire Strikes Back) and Woody replise "Wait a minute, Darth Vader can't be Luke Skywalker's father, they don't have the same last name."
1977 was a long time ago, but, as I remember it, the scrolling text at the beginning said the same thing. Episode IV - A New Hope. There was a lot of talk even back then about why Episode IV and pretty much it was dismissed by George Lucas as wanting to be different and I don't think he was planning the Prequels back then. I have a book somewhere at home that describes all the changes in the writing and the scripts. The final confrontation between the Emperor, Darth Vader, and Luke Skywalker was supposed to take place on a volcanic planet (a la E3) but Lucas ended up scrapping it due to budget reasons. There was also an idea scrapped where the ghost of Obi Wan intervenes to intercept the Sith Lightning instead of Darth Vader. I'll have a look and post the title/publisher of that book later if anyone wants. It was pretty interesting to see the different ideas he had before settling on the final script.
One thing that's amusing about the title "Revenge of the Sith". The original title for Episode VI was supposed to be "Revenge of the Jedi". There are even some movie posters out there with the title that were printed before it changed. George Lucas played off the title change as being something like revenge being not Jedi like. The real reason was that the original title for Star Trek II (which was released in 1982, a year before Jedi) was "Revenge of Kahn" and the two sounded too much alike and both were Sci-Fi type movies. Of course, Star Trek II was changed to "Wrath of Kahn" so both ended up changing.
But yeah, I do have a pretty decent knowledge of Star Wars and have read some of the expanded universe works. I even played Star Wars Galaxies before I played FFXI. I was a little kid when Star Wars came out, so I'm part of the generation that was swept up in the whole Star Wars phenomenon. It's a shame that the content in SWG is so lacking, I'd probably still be playing it actively if that were not the case.
Btw, I'm a huge fan of Lord of the Rings too. Can't wait for the Middle Earth MMORPG. Hope there aren't like a zillion Nazgul running around in that.
