Stop 0x00000050 or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

This Stop message, also known as Stop 0x50, occurs when requested data is not found in memory. The system generates a fault, which indicates that invalid system memory has been referenced. This fault can occur due to a variety of error conditions, such as bugs in antivirus software, a corrupted NTFS volume, or faulty hardware (typically related to defective RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM).

If you don't have a fan, find the AC vent in your room, crank the AC down to 50 and put it on cool and place the open chassis PC in front of the vent.

BTW if you turn the temp on those house A/C lower than 68F you will cause the A/C to blow out the fuse in A/C unit.

Just use the poor man's method. Pull one of the 2-3 DIMM's out, and run the machine. Juggle them in and out until you can rule that out or in.

Yeah, its got to be memory I think. When you run hardware-intensive programs like FFXI or some virus scanners alot of resources will be used. If theres something awry in your memory, then it'll catch if alot of your RAM is being paged. I wouldn't think a problem like this would be device drivers or IRQs, as that wouldn't prompt a blue screen and crash your computer I don't think.

I'd rather use a tester... because I'm not that confident in doing that.
and it usually takes awhile for the errors to happen...

would this work ok?
