ok, i understood 99% of the movie, but there is one small detail that has me thinking and it's makeing my brain hurt

ok right after padme' dies because she no longer has the will to live or w/e, and yoda, obi wan, and that senitor dude were talkin about what to do with the twins, and yoda tells obi wan that he can talk to his old dead master (Qui Gon) because he has acheavied immortality through the force, it made me think back to the first 3 movies, and i DO NOT at any point remember seeing Qui Gon in holigram form, or dead spirit, or re-encarnete, or anything even close. so, my qeustion is, considering that i havent watched the first three movies in a long time, does anybody remember seeing Qui Gon?

I just watched the 4,5 and 6 a few days ago and I can assure you he isn't there. I guess you're supposed to fill in what happens between 3 and 4 with your own imagination. But Obi-wan and Yoda do that imortality trick in 4 and 5 so it is there.

Basically yes they throw that in there to explain how Obi won learns how to do it.

yea but if you remember in the last movie (episode 6) it shows luke's uncle doing that also, so did obi wan teach him how to do it? bleh, fairlly confuseing little detail if you ask me

actually in 6 ,Alderan, its Anakin not Lukes Uncle, also Qui-Jon is from Episode #1, he was Obi-Wan's Teacher, he died fighting Darth Maul in Naboo

yea i know who qui-jon was, but i wanted to know if he was in any of the first 3 movies because of what yoda say's at the end of episode #3, and as for that being anakin in 6, you totally sure? it really looked like lukes uncle but w/e

ok, I can asure you that was anakin in #6....remember that Luke's uncle is Anakin's half brother so they could look alike. And no, Qui Gon was ever mentioned in the original trilogy, but Lucas was covering a base he hadnt gotten to yet.

I like how yoda goes "o he can talk to you" but then they never show it. they should have at least showen it >_<

Luke's uncle owen is actually anakin's step brother not half brother. And at the end of ep6 its yoda, obi-wan, and anakin...if you watch the new dvd version of the original trilogy, lucas made another change and put Hayden Christansen (sp?) in there instead of the original actor when they removed vader's helmet.

btw..the ending sucked ass..so did the acting...Padme and Mace Windu were the worst...the Sith Lord was horrible..and annikans scream was just rtarded at the end.."NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"-i give it a 7.5/10 :D

lol /agree..it was id say the worst of the series...they coulda hired more known/credible actors..Obi Wan and Yoda(a pc) are the only 1s who performed good :X

The guy who played anakin sucked so much ass in the second one and yet I was suprised how much better he was in the third one.

Sam Jackson's performance was the worst in Episode III i think

you guys also have to remeber vader just got new body pretty much, so of course he walks funny for having new legs. Also the NOOOOO wasnt as bad as you think. got to remeber its not his real voice saying it, so he cant show any real emotion. Goto like Microsoft sam and type in NOOOOOOOOOOO! and see how it sounds.

And Obi-wan leaving Anakin alive?! Wtf was that? Movies have taught me if I ever fight someone to the death im gonna go *poke* with my sword to make sure they dont come back and take me down.

well bear in mind he's giving up when there's exactly 2 jedi in the entire galaxy alive, and 2 Sith Lords and an army of Clones intensely focused on hunting down and killing those two people. also I think Yoda is supposed to be injured after the fight/fall.

yoda had his one chance to kill Darth Sidious before he could fully consoldiate his new power as Emperor. presumably once Darth Sidious got everything organized Yoda trying to get anywhere near the emperor again would be suicide.

Bear in mind again that much of the reason luke is able to get anywhere near Darth Vader/ the emperor is because the Emperor wants to turn him to the dark side.

I think theres a good reason why he let him live. You trying killing someone you've known since there childhood, evil or not . Its hard to do

Inbetween epi 3 and 4 there is about a 15-20 years in the middle. thats basically when all the stragglers (jedi) get hunted down and killed. and during those 20 years obi learns how to do that hollogram thing. other than that i liked the movie.
