This is something that has been snowballing for me, both in real life and in game. Seriously, I do my best to treat other people with respect and be nice to people even when I don't want to, and it really pisses me off when other people don't even try, or even purposefully make people upset. Case in point, I live in Kansas, so I don't really see alot of this, but the other day I was just driving along on the interstate and some moron comes beside me and starts honking his horn and flipping me off. What the heck is that? I did not cut the guy off or anything, just driving along.
I also just got done reading a thread about Ponuh leaving. Wow. What is wrong with people? Sure, the guy may not have made the most intelligent posts I have ever seen, but some people went out of their way to tell him off. What possible good can come from that? Are people that insecure about themselves that they have to tear other people down to feel better about themselves?
Another thing I can't stand: people who claim to represent the same faith I have but act like total pricks. Holy crap I hate that. Example: Fred Phelps. Most of you probably would not know the guy, but in Kansas he is famous for being a "Christian" minister who practices gay-bashing by parading around with signs etc. There is nothing in the Bible that supports the hate-mongering going on there. Yes, the word hypocrite come to mind with alot of people that claim to be a Christian. It's no wonder so many people are turned off, when Christians have a bunch of hypocritical morons and supposed holier-than-thou "saints" representing us.
I think all this is driving me to drink. I need a beer.

Well obviously you are referred to me. I had an opinion, so I expressed it. Ponuh was looking for attention so I expressed it. Did it make me feel good to say those things? No. But I felt ponuh needed to hear that. If no one tells him, he wont learn. He will keep doing what he is doing thinking it is fine. Not everyone is this saint that I guess you are expecting the world to consist purely of. I have a reason for not liking ponuh. Thats between me and him. I am a nice guy. But you cant be nice to EVERYONE, get over it =/

Yeah Valisk some of that was pointed in your direction a little bit, although there were others that got out of hand on that thread too. No, I don't know about the individual problems that people have with each other; I don't live on these boards lol. All I was trying to say was that it upsets me when people are intentionally mean, even if that person deserves it. I guess that's why I am who I am (not that I expect everyone to be like me) because I have a short memory and I really don't hold grudges. And again, I don't want to come off as being judgmental here, but everyone just take a look at what you write before you write it. In the big picture, is it really worth your time to get upset at people over stupid stuff? My mother always told me that if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all. There is some wisdom in that.

Its just that sometimes people say somethings sometimes that
might not be mean or bad to some, but to others could be quite
serious. I dont need to tell anyone why and the reasons for why i
say that, but i'm not going through good times at, and it might
sound pussylike, but i'm at a real defensive state atm and some
of you know why. Things arent going all goodie in some parts
or my life. But thats no reason to take someone else's offence

yeh i hear that completely.. I turned to FF to get away from all the negativity i feel by being around people in real life.. now it seems like everytime i sign on lately someone else is ruining my gameplay. I'm very close to quitting again I think.
