Last I checked... threatening someone irl in game was a no no. But I guess that doesnt apply to Danor because he is still in game and still selling that gil strong!

Also today I hear Valour won claim on Serket...only to have hebron teleported to GM jail. Why? well cause the GM mistargetted....and then kept him in jail while gilsellers mpk'd ppl on Serket and took claim getting the claw and ring....

If you truly feel threatened and fear for your mother's life by what Danor told you, then like the GM suggested you will have to call the police.
I'm sure you're smart enough though to know that he wasn't seriously plotting to kill your mother, in this case if Danor bothers you, the /blacklist command is far more effective than a GM call.

This is the case, 4 or 5 ppl from my linkshell camping Serket right ;P Only one tank, one DD and 2 mages. at 10% or so, gay Gilsellers came to mpk our 4 members. they failed, but our members still called a GM to complain. Our tank DC, and a DD with nin sub is lucky enough to be able to tank. GM comes, and takes our DD to jail, ofcourse our 2 mages couldn't keep claim. Serket was at 5% hp....

Gilsellers got claw and ring, GMs didn't do crap, everyone has complained to GMs and Higher GMs, no has even moved a finger. GMs owe two of my member a lot of money...

[Conclusion] All GMs are useless, many are probably corrupt and serve Gilsellers. Their grammar suck Imo, they don't show up to solve things up, they put people in jail for the worst reasons.

But in the end of it all, this is just a game :D Nothing to be upset about.

The GM never said it is OK to threaten someone's RL through FFXI, he said that if someone were to do so, it is none of his business and the threatened player in this case should contact the police. And I completely agree with him; if I were a GM, I wouldn't risk my life for someone I don't even know, interfering in a murder case. Leave that to the cops and don't bother GMs with it.

Threatening to hack someone's account and delete his character is an example of character threatening.
