Most gil-buying sites advertise gil for $19-$22 per million gil. How the hell do these places make money? Seems like each gilseller has to be making a million gil every 1-2 hours for these companies to make any profit. I know that gilsellers have a vast monopoly on all money NMs in the game, but something just doesn't seem to add up. I just don't see how these companies consistantly make 10 million gil per employee, per day, every day of the week. Because that's what it seems like it would take to stay profitable. Maybe I'm missing something here.

Alot of people Sell their Gear on AH then Sell the Gill IGE so they get a good chunk that was aswell i asume

My understanding is many are from countries with a low per capita income which would mean that this is an easy cash cow for them and it's filtering money out of the U.S. and Japanese economies so it's also good for them in the trade balance. This is why I believe the real enemy is the gil buyer. No demand = no profit.

meh im not gonna start in with anything last thread was ew,
but for shits in giggles i tried to see how mcuh money you can make off these guys if i had like 1 mil. i find out the lowest you can send to them is 20 mil i think (something around that) and you only get like 5 bucks for it i think it adds 50 cents fo every mil their after.

but i dunno how ppl can make money off this game =/ i mean you'd have to make (hypotheticly speaking) 60mil a month just to pay for the game
