You can get a Balance brand 17" LCD for abt 200 bucks at Wal-MArt. KDS has one there for abt 238 as well. Thats abt all i know of regarding cheap monitors.

Edit: This one seems nice.

I think Newegg sells monitors, don't they? If they do, surely go Newegg

I did now :P lol

Go Newegg. You can't lose.

They have super fast shipping and if it shits out early (like a motherboard that I got that was a defect) they quickly replace it.

The same exact thing happened to me Ike, I went to best buy and found a beautiful MAG flat screen/LCD monitor for about $150. This thing is bangin', I havent had a problem with it yet, and it has built in speakers.

This is it.

i noticed on some of the descriptions they say "16ms responce time" does that mean it takes 16miliseconds for the screen to actualy respond to what i am doing? in which a 12ms is better than a 25ms? i am worried how this will effect FFXI game play and if the delay will be noticeable

It didn't effect my FFXI gameplay at all, all the colors are beautiful too.

Here it is on bestbuy.com, only difference is that its $250 here, maybe it was on sale when I got it. It's still a good price though.

ok after days of searching and searching i think i found my home with new egg... as far as im concerned this monitor is perfect.. its under 250$$$ and from the reviews its well worth it..

most of the other monitors only have 6 reviews total, this one got 104. and only 2 of the were negative, because it had 1 or 2 dead pixles.

im skeptical about it though because i have never heard of "nu" and the price is a little low for somthing that claims to be "perfect"

its got an 8ms responce time so that makes it great for videos and games with no ghosting.. leme know if you think its fine, or if you see any gimiks with this. thanks

I'm going to have to agree there. My viewsonic seriously owns. Super bright, vibrant, only it's still one of the hugeass ones.

Same here. I have a 20" and the refresh rates are awesome and the color makes me wet.
