Yep mikey thats about it... which is very disapointing exspeically to people who never listen to the raido version... so here we havethis SUPPOSED to be great movie... And everything dies by bacteria.

The special effects are nice, but thats about all the movie has gonig for it.

Just wasnt the action packed scary movie i thoguh it would be. Be sides the aliens blowing everything up, you never really see the Army fighting em.. just see em run in there and die haha.



If you watch any Hitchcock movies you will know that the imagination will make a scene infinitely more scary. If they were to show the battle, it would be: Independence Day all over again. Spielberg deliberately doesn't show alot of things.
Also.
War of the Worlds had acting. SW ep 3 had no acting.

Are you serious? SW ep3 had great acting, It was episode 2 that had horrible acting. can only think of 2 parts where in sw Ep 3 seemed kinda iffy on the acting, and it was only in the love scenes. SW ep 3 is best movie ever.

Ep 3 had great acting? lol. I dont think anyone ever said that. they just thought it was better than that mindfuck that was ep2

Casue Harrison wasnt supposed to be in 1-3, he was supposed to be in 3 as child form, but they cut it out so he was never in it.


And Epsodie 3 acting was fine, go check the IGN Sw board, anyone will agree 2s acting was GOD awful but 3's was fine.

Na i have no ie what ur talking about FabI really did like War of The worlds. I just saw it less then 2 hrs ago. I gavce me a freaky feeling that whole movie. I gave you that sense of "There is no where to hide". And how they were close to unstoppable was nutz. It wasn't a matter of "How do we kill them" but "how are we going to Survie any longer?". It was great imo. There wasn't too much of a Story line but the main thing was you almost imagine yourself in that situation and what would you do?

guy it was good.

Yeah so i saw it the weekend , it was ok, special effects were good, it was a general remake, Just set around different characters. And it ended how War of the Worlds has always ended. So no surprises there really. All in all i would not go see it again and would only watch it on TV if there was nothing else on.
