i was sittin in my mog house mindin my own busyness when i get a tell from some chick named lijian or lijina.. cant remember. but we will jes call her gimpy.

so anyway, she sent me a tell sayg "party?" so i say sure y not, and she responds "ok you make pt invite me"

thought it was kinhda ruce but w/e i didnt think much of it. so i bulit pt and we headed to valley of sorrows. whm teles us and we head out.. we get to kuftal and we realize that gimpy is still in wester altepa.. we try talking to her.. no responce. so i go back to get her.. she is lost.. a lvl 60 thf is lost in western altepa!!

so i get her and take her to the valley.. we get party started and we say "pull" she jes stands there blankly.. i had to send her tells explaining that the theif needs to pull.. so she does.. she gets back and a few battles go and she doesnt do SATA, and solos dancing edge ;_;

the theif does not even know wtf SATA is.. how the hell can you get to lvl 60 w/o knowing what sata is? so it turns out the gimpy is a retired gil seller that sold her account.. and this was the new owners first party ever.. i had to D2 her back to jeuno and boot her from pt.. but the thing was.. she was chinese so she had no idea wtf i was saying.. and thats why the first translated text would have worked out perfectly

sorry for posting off topic but i jes though i might as well warn everyone out there about this theif.. named lijina or other wise known as. the fucking retard.

those little element symbols would be awesome for macros irl...

GM's just pissed cause they dunno how to use it

GMs can only ban the taste they can see. Breakfest cereals aside, GMs can't do crap about programs they can't see directly in game. GMs are about as effective at tracking packet sniffers as we are. And GMs can't ban people based off of circumstancial evidence.

I would kill for a better auto-translator. The one in the game sucks monkey butt. You have to have a PhD to use the translator to hold any kind of conversation with someone that doesn't speak your language. It's half-assed much like most of the stuff in the game. You'd think having people with different languages in one game you would make it extremely easy to hold a conversation. I still want them to do away with the auto-translator and just make it so that w/e you type translates to w/e language the person understands. I know that's asking a lot, though, so I won't hold my breath.

It doesn't even have "yes" and "no".

Haha Jim, I've thought about if GMs would come onto sites like these and start banning people for screenshots and/or making fun of them

hmm, if the GMs are in fact "real players" as well as GMs then it's safe to
say they may in fact check messageboards. Though, I've never heard of
anyone getting banned or in trouble for anything they did pertaining to the
game outside of the game. Besides I'm sure they have a whole statute of
rules like "it doesn't matter if someone made a thread saying YES I AM A
GILSELLER AND HERE'S THE SCREENSHOTS TO PROVE IT" or "CHECK
OUT HOW GAY THIS GM IS I WANT TO FIND HIM IRL AND PUT A HOT
SOLDERING IRON THROUGH HIS CORNEAL RETINA" but without the
proper evidence in the game it's prolly considered disprovable or invasion
of privacy.

haha yeh i've seen that before. what i've always wondered.. if there are
certain "red flag" terms that once said will alert a gm to start monitoring
your character and chat log(s)
