I'd like to give a big fat FU to the japanese players in this game for being retarded brainless idiots in exp parties, for having all the gear and no skill, for having better connection speed at hoo mjuu when i was a baby white mage and the same story later on at king camps, for being dicks about JP-onRy NA no-thanks in search comments, for sticking their noses 45 degrees in the air when they have the opportunity to lend a hand, and especially the hogs in KFCfellows, IcarusWings, and StarOnion for being selfish, racist assholes and ruining the endgame by repeatedly provoking the NMs before they even register on NA computers and letting abjuration rot to someone's 4th level 75 job and MPKing GMcalling namecalling just being annoying and ugh i hate you ! haha

not only were you a talented whm, I also viewed you as a very talented player in this game, however, very few of the old school left and I definitely viewed you in the top 10 of talented whms, I'm sorry a collective of ppl have discouraged you from attaining equipment that (in reality) is not necessarily neccessary to finish mostly everything in this game, I applaud your efforts in your LS to keep the motivation to do Kings though and I am glad to see it has somewhat paid off, maybe not as much as you guys want, but yes it has in some way. I think ya just need a break and I look foward to you speaking english, not chinese, when the final CoP update comes out, I do enjoy seeing the pics of Kay, Ilm, Ruby, Hcc, and the rest of you guys exploring areas that I explore like 2 months later, so I'll miss ya man, fight the good fight, and keep up with the adventuring. i didnt need anything from kings other than a good fight, i just wanted to see my friends get what they needed.

but really jp arent why i quit. im just done with the game. i did 330 quests, the only quests left are out of reach. and i got two jobs to 75. got sky, got sea, got all the gear i wanted, other than 4 impossible pieces (clerics briault, bards cannions, relaxing earring, pachamacs collar).

gilsellers are taking over every corner of the game, the economy is screwed up, its no longer so special to be 75 with so many 75s running around, so many of my friends quit or dont play much, etc. etc.

on top of that, i just started school, and i really dont have time for this game. already since i quit a few hours ago, ive gotten a LOT of homework done.

i wont be back this time, other than a few times this week to give out gear and <secret>
Maybe once i get settled into my own apartment i'll look for a new game to play. i squeezed all i could out of this game.

hoho whisp i remember the only time i ever saw you in game was in the tree, when you were leveling your brd. we weere to high for the area but we made it work with small amounts of exp. i couldnt stay for more than an hour, but it was still a pleasure to have been in a party with you. do you remember? you proly dont, it was a long time ago. but i will always remember.

I wish I remember when I met whisp... I started at NA release as a dirty elvaan and then had issues with my computer and had to quit after a few weeks due to computer issues and stuff like that, but when I came back I found out he was on my friend's list and was already like a high level whm... I had fun being with ya in CKD and stuff man, take care irl and if you ever go to a new game (one not owned by JP) lemme know, I'd be happy to try it out with you and TS :D

Man, sorry to see you go. One of the actual cool people in this game. I would also echo some of the sentiments of some of the others that you were one I kinda looked up to as a whm. It was fun to party with you the couple times I did with your brd, and it meant alot to me when you said you thought I was a good whm. Good luck irl and congrats on beating the game

Yeah SE should have made segregated servers from the beginning, but for some strange reason they didn't have the forsight to realized how lopsided this game is in favor of the JP.

Anyways, It's hard to summarize my feelings about the past year and a half of FFXI, because this game has been such a part of my life, along with sleeping, eating, breathing, etc. Lots of good times, with lots of fun people. I'll miss the community that we've created.

Endgame just isn't as fun as it could be, and SE doesn't seem to care about the glaring problems that NA players face. Chinese dipshit gilsellers camp every single money NM, and Japanese ping-masters out-claim us on kings 99% of the time. I'm not angry, but its just sad to think what could've been with an NA only server, with each major LS taking turns at different things, instead of asian people who don't ever sleep whoring everything in sight 24/7.

The magic of FFXI is gone for me, but I'll always remember the good times. This was my first mmorpg, and I had no idea what I was getting into lol. I don't regret any of it, because this game changed my view on what a video game can be.

I remember the only time I think I ever talked to you Whisp. I was leveling my BLM (first job to 75 so I was still learning a lot) at around the 40s.. and I couldn't get a party! I was so pissed about everything and somehow felt that BLM were in too large of numbers and nobody needed nor wanted one in their party. I kept trying to start parties to no avail.

As with always trying to start parties, you quickly learn that getting the tank and refresher made the rest pretty easy to find. I remember looking for a BRD and seeing you online. Just before I sent you a tell, you sent me one asking if I had room. I had JUST started the party with a PLD I believe when that happened and I was really surprized. Well, the PLD said he had to go as I was talking to you -- so nothing ever came to be. However, it was funny because I remember continuing to talk to you. You bitched on and on about how BRDs have so much trouble getting parties -- which obviously isn't try, but you were also making me laugh because I could relate so well to how you felt. I ended up logging that night without another party, but it wasn't bad because talking to you made me feel better and you had made me laugh with some of the things you said. I didn't know what the hell CKD was at the time (not sure if it existed since I do remember Hokuten still being around) but I remember you having a profound effect on how I viewed the game.

I don't think I ever talked to you again but still to this day I believe that you are a really cool person and this game just sunk 10 levels with your news of quitting. Sorry for sounding corny -- I hope your next hobby/game/addiction is just as, if not more rewarding than this one.

all i can say is =(((. ill miss you guys and good luck with finishing school and so forth =P.
