Hey Sirf~
If you want advice mine is to *not* level cooking to 100, heh. Right now I'm 100+1 and it really isn't a good money maker anymore with so many high level cooks on our server. The other thing I don't like about it is that you need to spend a lot of time gathering ingredients and crafting 30948039 of an item just to make a decent profit. For example some sushi requires unstackable fish and ingredients from tenshodo. Pumpkin pie which is a good seller requires 8 ingredients +crystal. Cooking is a nice craft to have but it really won't make you rich. If you are leveling THF again you could probably make a comparable amount of money simply farming now since crafting supplies are so costly (30k/stack for silk, etc)
If you do still decide to go with cooking anyway, Lalond's guide is a very good one, just realise that some of those items will never *ever* sell on AH so you have to NPC them (like the party eggs, lol). Like Dchaos I also leveled up on Au Lait drinks whenever possible because those actually sell on AH. Also, make sure you take a mule to Jeuno so you can sell all the stuff you are leveling on: juices, pies, au laits, roast mushroom, kabobs, royal tea, dhalmel pie, shallops, marron glace, navarin, rice balls, tacos, will all actually sell to a varying degree. Some you will get rid of overnight and some you will want to burn (like my 50 stacks of sweet rice cake on my mule). >_>
For subcraft it's nice to have woodworking to at least 20 or so for rice dumpling to level on for a little while, and alchemy to 20ish as well for snoll gelato and crimson jelly (if you eventually want to make those for profit).
Good luck.
