WAR/SMN + Refresh should be able to keep up with the MP cost... +9% on Great Axe ... that's pretty nice

I can see my rdm blisting me if I ask for refresh and haste :D

Anyway, this weapon is kinda useless because every 2h weapon are useless at 75. On anything under low IT, axe's DoT will be like 50%-75% higher than it would with g.axe. Not to mention rampage outdamages any g.axe's WS but SA+Steel cyclone.


The only situation where g.axe > axe is when you need to close a strong darkness skillchain, but in that case, haste doesn't matter. You would want the axe with highest base damage. If you need the skillchain, but not the damage (ie: aspi), Fortitude axe build tp much quicker.

A war/nin tanking wyrm could use it for the haste bonus (4sec on utsu timer) but beside that, I don't see where a war would use it.

Yeah only time ive seen WARs use it is for blink tanking wyrms, but you can hit the floor utsu recast without it anyway. Martial bhuj is the only GA worth using with Steel Cyclone for most situtations... too bad darkness sucks at all the lv75 exp spots heh.

GA DoT isnt that bad if you include skillchain dmg. 150% Cyclone darkness with martial bhuj usually one shots VT wyverns (2600 - 4000 combined dmg) and you always have more than 120% tp from having to save tp to not overkill the mob. I think skye was only 10% more DPS with ridill on aura statues and thats without skillchain dmg included but darkness is like 100dmg most the time on them anyway haha.

yea its average, 10% haste is pretty noticable for attack delay though.

what if this is 3MP instead of 4MP

you can have Refresh + haste + <songs> + /THF ?

I read some place that this is actually 3MP instead of 4MP, not sure which one is correct.

You might gain 200 on DoT, but will lose a lot more on WS :P

while we are on the subjust of TP gain and TP given...

do you know what exactly is for example Rajas ring do, exactly?

and the TP status thing... is that mean you get one more TP per swing and mob get 1 less TP per swing you hit it?

is that mean you will be better with 1h weapon instead of 2h?

since I never swing anything on mob (BRD & RNG & BST) I dont pay much attention about TP and things...

"Store TP" bonus is still proportional to weapon delay afaik.

General rule of thumb for SAM with GK is 5 store TP = 0.5 TP per attack cycle i think.

actually, Store TP gives you +.1 for every strike you do, so lets say you have +5 StoreTP from one of the Hachiman armors, you get 1% more TP every 2 hits. If you wear the whole Hachiman set, its like 18+store TP = 1.8% more tp every hit.

This sure seems not helpful, but if you get that extra 1% in, 4-5 hits later you have another 100% tp where as you might have 99% w/o the +TP

This is helpful pre-rng nerf cuz you could go sidewinder > barrage > sidewinder w/ the hachiman set because sidewinder will give you 15% instead of 14%

Not with dual wield and 1h katana. 10 tp 2 strikes with and without ring.

sorry im not a ninja master ^^ maybe you get half the tp from each strike since you have 2? cuz i get 14-15 each hit with GKT... maybe ill try it out sometime
