Well if a "public discussion" or "meeting" is held inside somebodies house, and the owner of the house decided they don't want you there, they have every right to kick you out. It's their house.

The forum might be public but it's hosted on Yarr's website and that makes it his house, so to speak. Probably not the best analogy but you get the idea i'm sure.

Anyway.

What I find stupid is that Valisk was banned from the FS boards for doing exactly the same thing (unnessecary flaming based around an opinion) and Vaelen banned him. Nobody yells "Freedom of speech" then, but when Yarr does the same thing the entire public is in an uproar.

Personally I don't care what, which way or whatever. This argument is nothing to do with me as far as I'm concerned. But if people are gonna complain about it, they could at least not pick on one guy while turning a blind eye to the other.

Theres a difference between spouting off your opinoin and bashing someone. This forum has a purpose. That is for CKD to come and chat about everything from FFXI to 'Boobies covered in Bacon'. While I do want this forum to be the place where everyone comes to get the latest 'Ifrit Buz' I wont sit by as an Admin and Moderator and let people slowly crush the reputation of one of the most selfless individuals Ive met in game.

I have 2-3 years of IGN Moderating experiance and I apply most the guidlines i learnt there to moderating here. I was a good mod at IGN and never had any problems with how I delt with my power.

Besides, I ban HitmanR whos an Ex-CKD member. I could easily have looked the other way on that one.



No one is forcing you to come here. No one is holding you at gun point. If you dont like that I stand up for my friends then just leave.

If I wanted to be a real asshole I would have just perma ban them.

Valisk is a good guy who people started bashing for the wrong reasons. I am putting a stop to it.

This actually brings up a funny story about my ex-wife (yes I am only 22 with an ex wife already).
