This is just a rant, unless you are bored, don't waste your time reading it
We used to have Verizon DSL when we were in Dallas and everything was fine. So I figure we'll just go ahead and get the same stuff for VA.
But guess what? First, DSL service didn't start on the same day as our phone service as the customer rep promises me when I signed up for phone/dsl services. I was told that we'll have to wait until 1/27 for our dsl to work by fed. regulation.
Fine, I was pissed but understandable that's law and there's nothing they can do. So I was waiting for the modem which was supposed to be here either yesterday or today. I called last night to see if they've sent it out yet. I was told my order has been cancelled. I was MAD, like MAD MAD MAD. I asked why my order is cancelled. They told me because our line didn't qualify for the service (too far out from their central office). I asked when they are going to inform me if I hadn't called last night. He said, we sent you an email (which is my main email address that I check 5-10 times daily). I never even got the email. So I asked what the email address they sent to is. Of course the stupid people here missed 1 letter in the email address when they entered the information.
The customer rep quality here is just unbelievable bad. They misspelled my last name, misspelled my email address and gave me the freaking wrong information on whether we can have dsl at home or not. We waited 17 days for nothing. If we had gone with the cable modem, we'd already have it like 2 weeks ago. Sigh, I hate the stupid verizon people at VA!!!
