Since Mystertour has gone belly up, I've had to be more resourceful in tracking down information on things like updates. I'd like anyone and everyone willing to post information (no spoilers kthx) they've collected since the patch release. For example: New CoP mission specficis, (where to go, what to do, etc.), ENM fight specifics, and the tested effects of the shield skill, Divine Veil, and new SAM job trait.

So far I've done a little testing with the new Shield Skill system. Some Too Weak Gob hit me consitently for 26 damage, but one every three hits or so the damage was reduced to around 15. Not sure if thats anything special though, I need to play with it more. Also post if you've practiced with the new Banish effects on undead OR please share on how to get Banish III or new Raise III scrolls =p I suspect its all ENM stuff, but whatever we can find would be awesome. Spread the love.

Nightkids was mentioned on the PEG forums there aren't any new DRG eq/jt enhancements. I did see the addition of wyvern stoneskin, however. Thats something at least, isnt it?

the stoneskin for wyverns is an enchantment item though...so it's probably something retarted like 30 uses and reuse time of like 30 minutes. So I dont see much point to it other than making our Maat fight even easier >.>

Ya, RDM have a high enough rating to do Sidewinder with RNG SJ.

Sidewinder = 175
Red Mage 75 Archery Cap = 21o

KRT worms here I come! :x

For the looks of it, the only new trait worth investing is "Convert." I'm pretty sure pumpin the rest of the points in Enfee. Magic would be ideal.

The SAM JSE seems to be geared towards SAM/RNG I think. Gives a lot of STR and Store TP boosts, not to mention weaponskill accuracy.
Should be fun to pump out the Sidewinders and not have them miss so often. :shock:

I tested this job ability out, pretty hot stuff. Heres the deal. (Divine Veil)
works with Poisona, Paralyna, Stona, Cursna, Viruna, Silena, Blindna, and Erase. It will only affect people in the party that its casted on regardless of WHM (AoE status removal spells won't spill over into other parties included in alliances though). So, it will only cure up to six people at a time, but you can cast it on any party you want (except for Erase with is the caster's party only). Shortening the 10:00 recast time through Merit points might be recommended though to make this more useful for mobs like Seiryu that spam AoE paralyze and Silence. Expect to set up a Divine Seal order for WHMs like you would a Stun order for DRKs if you want to keep paralyna or silena off of tanks at all times.

Seems like errant feet on a hand slot. I dunno I don't really need anymore mnd and my macro slots are full... so bleh haha

Wise Cap +1 - Head, DEF:25 MP+15 Accuracy+3, Ranged Accuracy+4, Magic Accuracy+6, Lv.72 RDM

I'm not sure exactly what they mean by accuracy. Right now it just sounds like elemental skill +. So unless 2 elemental skill = 1 magic accuracy, I think I'd stick with af1 or af2 hats. But that's me.

* Wise Pigaches +1 - Feet, DEF:15 INT+5 Accuracy+3, Ranged Accuracy+4 Enmity-2, Lv.72 RDM

Being Elvaan, I would use these over Errant pigaches. Don't really need the mnd, and most of the time I forget to equip them and leave my crimson greaves on haha. But the int and Magic accuracy is pretty hot.

Wise Braconi +1 - Legs, DEF:33 MP+20 Accuracy+2, Magic Accuracy+3, Enmity-5, Lv.72 RDM

meh.... z slacks or errant heh

I'm still trying to figure out why it has all kinds of enmity - stuff.... If you're pulling all kinds of hate as a rdm... something is wrong haha. (unless you 2hr for fun)
